Frequently asked

Is there luggage storage at Masjid al Haram?

Yes. The authority for the Two Holy Mosques has introduced free storage with receiving points at the courtyards and gates. Reported limits are about four hours and seven kilograms per person, with food, liquids and medicine not accepted. Confirm on site.

Can I take a suitcase into the Prophet's Mosque?

No. Suitcases and large bags are not allowed inside the Prophet's Mosque. Use the safety boxes in the courtyards for small items and leave large luggage at your hotel.

Where should I leave my luggage on arrival?

Ask your hotel to hold it until check in, then go to the Haram with a small bag.
