Who writes

The Makkah Madina Guide editorial team writes and reviews each guide. We are an independent information service. We are not a government body, a travel agent or a scholar.

Sources

For rules, permits and services we point to the Nusuk platform and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Place details come from Google Maps. Mall tenant lists come from official mall sources where available and are marked when unconfirmed.

Religious content

Our guides give a general introduction to Umrah, Hajj and ziyarat. For rulings, ask a qualified scholar.

Updates

Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. We review key pages before Hajj season and whenever rules change.

Ads and independence

The guide is free and supported by advertising. Advertisers cannot pay to be listed, ranked or reviewed, and ads are kept apart from guidance and emergency information.
